IN the year 1866, with the discovery of Christian Science by Mary Baker Eddy through divine revelation, a method of healing unique and unparalleled since the days of Jesus was made available to the world. It is known as Christian Science treatment.
With her clear and compassionate foresight of the many needs of humanity, Mrs. Eddy made provision in the Manual of The Mother Church for those things which would ensure the spiritual welfare and growth of her followers. One of these provisions is the office of practitioner. And she has stated that the provisions in the Manual were unfolded to her through divine inspiration, impelled by a power not her own.
Has one ever asked, "How long should I wait before going to a practitioner?" Or, "Should I not insist upon solving this problem myself?"
