The inspiration gained from vast numbers of testimonies in our periodicals prompts me to express my deepest gratitude to God and to our Leader, Mrs. Eddy, for the limitless blessings of Christian Science.
For about eight years I have spent much time studying the Bible and the authorized Christian Science literature, including all of Mrs. Eddy's writings. Through trying to make the Manual of The Mother Church my daily guide, I have found great help, and I have been richly rewarded for all my endeavors. I have been protected in marvelous ways, and I have been healed of many physical ills and character defects. Some of these healings include those of influenza, tonsillitis, sprained ankle, dislocated vertebra, nervousness, acute attacks of severe headache, fear, criticism, irritableness, discontent. A tangled legal problem was solved harmoniously by my clinging steadfastly to the realization of God as Principle and knowing that man can reflect only justice, honesty, integrity, and uprightness. When I began the study of Science, I was spending the greater part of my savings on doctors in the vain attempt to regain my health. Since becoming a student I have relied entirely upon Science, with perfect results.
One healing for which I am most grateful came as naturally as the opening of a rose. My eyes were giving me a great amount of trouble, and although I wore glasses and was receiving treatment from a specialist, the trouble persisted. After beginning the study of Science I forgot all about eyes in the pure joy of knowing God as my Life. When I again remembered glasses, they were lost, and I have never seen nor needed them since.
