I consider it a great privilege to be able to add my testimony to the many others which appear in our periodicals telling of the healing power of God revealed in Christian Science.
My first healing took place when I was about fifteen years old. Tuberculosis of the lungs had reached an advanced stage, and much fear was expressed by those around me, especially by an uncle who was a physician. My mother took me to a Christian Science practitioner, and through her clear understanding of God and man this loving woman healed me at that one visit. Many years have passed since then, and I am happy to say that I have never had any further fear of that disease.
I have had many other proofs of God's healing presence. A few years after the first healing took place I was stricken with a severe attack of appendicitis. My mother called a practitioner and asked her to help me, which she did. In about a week I was back at work entirely free.
