I am happy to submit the following testimony. Being a resident of California, I have been aware of the many so-called fad or cult religions that seem to spring up periodically. Occasionally someone is encountered who, out of ignorance of the subject, tends to put Christian Science in the same category. My experience is living proof that Christian Science is, in fact, revealed religion and the law of God.
Whenever tempted by doubt, I take confidence in the continuous flow of authenticated testimonies of healing that have come from the practice of Christian Science since its discovery by Mary Baker Eddy in 1866. This accumulation of demonstrative proof now amounts to a veritable mountain, to which I am compelled to add my experiences of healing.
I am the fourth generation member of my family to be a student of Christian Science. From direct experience I have participated in or been witness to healings of blindness, paralysis, arsenic poisoning, injury from automobile accident, severe burns from a gas explosion, and many other afflictions. I have seen death by electrocution overcome. All these healings are within the scope of my direct knowledge and were accomplished solely by the application of Christian Science and without recourse to surgery, splints, or medicine.
