The year 1992 was a busy one for our church membership: the construction of our new edifice was completed. The first service was held in the new building on the last Sunday in August of that year.
When we moved into our new structure, we were certain it would be a blessing not only to our members but also to the entire community. We prayed for an opportunity to extend a special invitation to friends and neighbors who had expressed so much interest as the building had progressed. This was realized by giving a musical program in November to share the beauty and features of our new edifice and especially of our new organ.
Invitations were printed. We hand-delivered an invitation, along with the June issue of The Christian Science Journal, to eight local ministers.
