Letters

Translated from Spanish

From the June 1996 issue of The Christian Science Journal

When a friend lent me a copy of the Christian Science Sentinel The Christian Science Sentinel is a weekly magazine. The Herald of Christian Science is published in twelve languages. of September 18 last year, I took advantage of this opportunity God had given me. I was left in amazed admiration of the article "Letters to a Sunday School pupil: the Ten Commandments."

I thought the background on the page—of envelopes and stationery, formed with different shades of gray—was marvelous. And I was dazzled by the manner in which the authentic significance of each commandment was expressed. That article really is for everyone!

Accolades don't always help as much as criticism, because they don't suggest how something can be improved, but they do come from the heart's gratitude. The Bible often mentions praise and the acknowledgment of good received, as an integral part of prayer.
