Christians throughout the centuries have been asking, How did Christ Jesus heal? The Master himself pointed to the answer in these words: "It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life." John 6:63. His cures were based on his understanding of the power of divine Spirit.
The almighty power of God, Spirit, is unseen by the physical senses but is felt by the strength it conveys and the help we draw from it. Spiritual power heals diseases and destroys evil because it is the might of supreme, infinite good. Divine Spirit is supreme over matter and the flesh.
Since God is Spirit, His children must be spiritual, perfect. The healing of disease and sin through divine power is possible, and natural, because these errors are no part of our real being. Jesus proved this and showed that we have God-given control over the body. He showed us how to align our thoughts with Life and Love, with the very Principle of harmony, and thereby experience harmony
