Christmas—what it means to you

From the December 2003 issue of The Christian Science Journal

Why is Christmas special? What does it mean to you and other kids, everywhere? The Journal talked with children in various parts of the world to get their thoughts. Here is some of what they shared.

My favorite part of the Christmas story is when the three wise men found baby Jesus by following the bright star. I think it's amazing that they knew which star to follow. They must have been truly inspired and listening to God.

You can keep Christmas with you by being happy. I like the proverb that says, "A merry heart doeth good like a medicine" (Prov. 17:22) because it reminds me of the power of happy thoughts.
