Some years ago, soon after starting college, I noticed a bit of pain in both my upper and lower jaw. Soon after that, I had a dental appointment. The dentist informed me that X-rays showed I had four impacted wisdom teeth which needed to be removed via oral surgery as soon as possible.
I thanked him, said I’d need to think about it, and left. When I went for a run later that night, every time my foot hit the ground, the jolting movement caused increasing pain in my jaw. Worry also crept in because I had no funds or insurance to cover the recommended surgery.
Over the years, I’d gained confidence in just how quickly and completely God heals every inharmonious condition when we turn to Him. Through prayer as taught in Christian Science, I’d already had healings of physical ailments, sports related injuries, and demonstrations of supply and direction. Most of the time, when I had a need for healing, I’d call a Christian Science practitioner to pray with me, and healing results would soon follow.
