Christian Science nursing’s tender care

Linda Kohler has been a Christian Science nurse for about 30 years. She graduated magna cum laude from Southern Methodist University in theater/directing, and a year later began Christian Science nursing training at Arden Wood in San Francisco. In 2005 she moved to Boston, where she served as Manager of Christian Science Nursing Activities. In 2011 she was appointed a trustee of The Christian Science Publishing Society. She is currently serving a one-year term as President of The Mother Church, having been appointed at this year’s Annual Meetingabout which you can read in the insert, included in this issue of the Journal.

In her remarks at Annual Meeting Linda said, “It is such an honor … to serve this Church that I love so much, as President, but I feel that I’m sharing this honor with every Christian Science nurse.”
