Mary Baker Eddy mentions Noah Webster six times in her published writings. Webster wrote America’s first dictionary, which contributed to standardizing the American language. Mary Baker Eddy used Webster’s dictionary, An American Dictionary of the English Language, among others, while writing her primary work, Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, as well as her other published writings.
