CHURCH TREASURER Per Capita Tax:—The annual per capita tax for which the Manual provides is due from members of The Mother Church June 1, but may be paid at any time during the year. The per capita tax of those who unite with the church in November is reckoned from the preceding June, for that is the beginning of the church year.

ADMISSION TO MEMBERSHIP IN THE MOTHER CHURCH The next admission of candidates will take place on May 30, 1919, as provided in Article XIII, Section 2, of the By-laws of The Mother Church. Application blanks may be obtained by addressing the Clerk of The Mother Church, and should be returned to him on or before Friday, May 16, 1919.

The Christian Science Board of Directors of The Mother Church, with the concurrence of the Board of Trustees of The Christian Science Publishing Society, announces that from this date all new applications of branch churches and societies, practitioners, and nurses, for advertisement in The Christian Science Journal, Der Herold der Christian Science , or Le Héraut de Christian Science, shall be made for recognition directly to The Christian Science Board of Directors of The Mother Church. The Christian Science Publishing Society has accordingly adopted a rule that only those cards which have first been approved by the Board of Directors of The Mother Church will from this date be accepted for advertisement in the Christian Science periodicals.

ADVERTISED IN THE CHRISTIAN SCIENCE MONTHLY PERIODICALS Applications for advertisements in The Christian Science Journal, Der Herold der Christian Science, or Le Heraut de Christian Science are received when made on the regular blank forms prepared for this purpose and furnished by The Christian Science Publishing Society upon request. The annual charges for advertisements in the Journal, payable in advance, are $10.
