ADMISSION TO MEMBERSHIP IN THE MOTHER CHURCH The next admission of candidates will take place on May 30, 1919, as provided in Article XIII, Section 2, of the By-laws of The Mother Church. Application blanks may be obtained by addressing the Clerk of The Mother Church, and should be returned to him on or before Friday, May 16, 1919.

ADVERTISED IN THE CHRISTIAN SCIENCE MONTHLY PERIODICALS Applications for advertisements in The Christian Science Journal, Der Herold der Christian Science, or Le Heraut de Christian Science are received when made on the regular blank forms prepared for this purpose and furnished by The Christian Science Publishing Society upon request. The annual charges for advertisements in the Journal, payable in advance, are $10.

CHURCH TREASURER Per Capita Tax:--The annual per capita tax for which the Manual provides is due from members of The Mother Church June 1, but may be paid at any time during the year. The per capita tax of those who unite with the church in November is reckoned from the preceding June, for that is the beginning of the church year.

Many inquiries have been received at headquarters in regard to reliable ways and means whereby knitted goods may be sent to men in the Army and Navy. With this object in view the following committee is recommended to the field.

VEST POCKET EDITION OF THE QUARTERLY Commencing with the July number, and continuing thereafter, a special vest pocket edition of The Christian Science Quarterly will be issued, conforming in size to the vest pocket edition of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy. The price will be the same as for the regular edition of the Quarterly.
