No hymns nor words composed by students of Christian Science that are not at this date, January 22, 1896, in the Christian Science Hymnal shall be sung in the Mother Church, The First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Boston. As a necessary barrier to inharmony in the Church this By-Law has become requisite.
The list of names of the members of the Mother Church has been revised and corrected so far as possible, and will be published with the revised edition of the Manual now in the publisher's hands. See Publisher's Department.
A Member of this church that obeys its Rules and By-laws, and is a student of Mrs. Eddy's student, is eligible to form a church and to have church services conducted by reading the Scriptures and the Christian Science text-book.

It contains a brief history of the formation of the Church, all the Rules and By-laws now in existence, instructions how to become members of the Mother Church, and a complete list of the present members of the Church.
