The Bible Lessons as prepared by a Committee appointed for that especial purpose, constitute the entire lesson-sermon, and no remarks whatever by the readers about the lesson or in explanation thereof are to be made at any time during the service. The First Church of Christ, Scientist, have filed articles of incorporation with Register of Deeds Kenyon within the last day or two. Among other things the articles make the following declarations: First, that the corporate name by which said church hereby to be formed shall be known and distinguished is and shall be the First Church of Christ, Scientist, and shall be located in or near the city of Appleton Outagamie county, Wisconsin.

The annual meeting of the Mother Church, The First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Boston, Mass. , will be held in the church edifice, Falmouth and Norway Streets, Boston, Tuesday October 6, 1896, at two o'clock P.

A member of this church that shall receive into his class of Christian Science or into his association, either a student of Mrs. Eddy's or of any loyal Christian Scientist, without the written consent of his or her teacher over this teacher's own signature, shall be excommunicated.
