Here in my country, the Philippines, we are familiar with the expression "Mañana habit," which means "putting off for tomorrow what one can do today. " I also often hear the expression Bukas na lang, or "Let's do it tomorrow," from students and teachers.
Is it Spirit or matter that sustains man? The Bible's approach to this most important subject provides definite proof of the power of God to maintain man's strength and vigor. For instance, in the Old Testament the book of Isaiah proclaims, "They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.
A life of self-respect is one that expresses what is pure and ennobling and is free from what is degrading and unworthy. Who does not long for such a life? Is it possible to attain? Christian Science answers an unequivocal yes.
