A human philosopher opines that when A meets B there are six concepts of man present. First, there is A's concept of himself; secondly, B's concept of A; thirdly, God's concept of A.

Players in such games as baseball and cricket are familiar with the term "inning" or "innings," when a team or an individual member thereof has a fresh opportunity to score. In baseball, a game of normally nine-innings, there is always hope for a trailing side as long as there is one inning left.

Alertness to reverse and dissipate every false prophecy of mortal mind that suggests future epidemics, pestilence, or affliction is one effective way for Christian Scientists to help protect the health of mankind. He who desires to express symmetry will do so only as he understands that no quality of Mind is developed at the expense of another, but each unfolds in orderly perfection from the basis of infinity.
