Recently, when I was on a very long phone conversation with a service provider, I learned something about God. At first, I was not looking forward to this phone call given my past experiences, but this time it seemed to go well and the required information was quickly shared.

While living with me, my mother Alice experienced a wonderful instantaneous healing of a crippling infirmity through Christian Science. Sometime later, we as a family went to a theme park where there were miles of walking—and my mother was out ahead of the rest of us most of the way! Still later, back at home one day, she was skipping in the yard—something that could have looked simply foolish to an onlooker—a woman in her eighth decade skipping like a little girl.

Have you ever felt burdened with work, whether it is homework, your job, or household chores that have to get done all in one day? As a college student in a rigorous education program, I often feel that I have too much to accomplish in so little time. This distress was particularly aggressive one day last year when I was taking challenging education courses and the work just continued to pile on my desk.

We’ve all probably heard of the concept of original sin, which is from the story of Adam and Eve in the Bible. In the book of Genesis, the world is described as a perfect paradise, up until the first sin was committed, when Adam and Eve disobeyed the Lord and ate the forbidden apple.

Recently, I was watching a television documentary called, The Real Face of Jesus? in which computer artists generated the possible face and body of Jesus. They used advanced 3D computer technology and forensic data based upon impressions made on the Shroud of Turin to master this.
