Poems

Love's likeness

From the July 1995 issue of The Christian Science Journal

My heart
And voice
Sing
Praise unto Life
Unconfined.

Free
From bonds
I sing
Of mirrored likeness
Brighter than the sun.

My heart soaring
I take one step
Toward knowing
The whole image
Of my Maker.

Yielding to
Spiritual sense
Of life
I apprehend Love
And know

The likeness of Love
Is man
Loving, untethered
In the freedom
Of Mind,

Seeing all
In priceless
Understanding
And far-transcending vision
That does not limit God.
