You can master fatigue

From the March 1998 issue of The Christian Science Journal

Is physical or mental fatigue the unavoidable price of being active? Is dragging oneself around after a full day or week inevitable?

The Bible answers these questions clearly.

A passage from Isaiah concludes with this statement: "They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint." Isa. 40:31. Perhaps even more unequivocal and persuasive is the example of Biblical figures. Paul was nothing if not indefatigable. And the Master, Christ Jesus, though apparently spending entire days healing and teaching, showed limitless energy, which could only be described accurately as divine.
