Even the 'simplest' truth heals

- Practice, Practice, Practice

Sometimes sticking to the simplest truth can bring about healing.

In this case it was: “man is made in the image and likeness of God” from the Bible’s book of Genesis (see 1:26).

As I lay in bed feeling feverish and under the influence of a cold, these simple words kept repeating over and over in my thought. I seemed so strongly held by them, and I could think of nothing else. When praying, I would typically take such a statement apart, word by word, and expand on it in my prayers. This time I could stay zeroed in only on this one statement.
