Genuine genealogy

- Practice, Practice, Practice

Have you ever met the child of a person you know well? You probably saw features in that child that reminded you of their parents. Some children look a lot like their parents. I have three children, and they each are unique, but if they stand next to their dad or me, anyone could definitely tell that they’re our children.

Yet, if you met someone and didn’t know his or her parents, that person’s likeness to the parents would be unknown to you, and irrelevant to your relationship.

It’s similar with God and us. We are God’s children; so the more we know of God, the more we see that divine parentage expressed in ourselves and others. However, the less we know of God, the less we see of our Father-Mother in creation.
