God never changes

- Practice, Practice, Practice

“I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob” (Matthew 22:32).

These words rang in my head one morning as I awakened from sleep. I recognized this phrase because it is written in the Bible a number of times, but I couldn’t figure out why it had come to me. I asked God to show me, and gradually a light began to dawn in my thought.

The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob is the same God who was there for Jesus, and for Mary Baker Eddy, and is here now for me and for everyone, even those who do not feel they know God yet. God was here even before Abraham realized that He is the one and only God. This same God has been here all along.
