In the  Manual of The Mother Church, Mary Baker Eddy provides for the continuity of her teaching through the establishment of the Board of Education. Article XXIX, Section 2, states: “Loyal Christian Scientists’ pupils who so desire may apply to the Board of Education for instruction; and if they have practised Christian Science healing successfully three years and will furnish evidence of their eligibility therefor, they are eligible to enter the Normal class.

Dear Members and Friends, We are pleased to let you know that Moji George, CSB, of Lagos, Nigeria, has been elected to the Christian Science Board of Directors of The First Church of Christ, Scientist, effective July 14, 2023.   Moji spent her early years in England, and completed university in Ile-Ife, Nigeria.

New Clerk of The Mother Church

Dear Members and Friends, As mentioned at Annual Meeting, our Clerk, Laurie Richardson, notified the Board of Directors that she would be stepping away from her position as Clerk and returning to her home in Missouri. We have all been truly blessed to have her thoughtful metaphysics, evident love of The Mother Church, care of its members, and guidance of the Clerk’s Department while serving in this capacity the past three years.
