“Oh that men would praise the Lord for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!” ( Psalms 107:15 ).   This psalm, together with many others in this year’s Thanksgiving Bible Lesson, shows us that gratitude is inseparable from praising God.

Keeping our periodicals timely and relevant

Watch a recording here of a conversation with the Christian Science Board of Directors and the Board of Trustees of The Christian Science Publishing Society about the initiatives mentioned in this announcement. divider In many ways,  our Church’s periodicals represent a covenant between Christian Scientists of today and the discovery found in the textbook of Christian Science, Mary Baker Eddy’s  Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures.

Sterling Student Edition

This year marks 150 years since the publication of Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy. We love to think about all that has been accomplished in those 150 years, how many lives have been made whole by learning about the actuality of God, as taught in Christian Science.

In addition to projects related to Reading Room promotion, the Trustees Under the Will of Mary Baker Eddy grant program will continue to offer support for a variety of projects to aid branch church efforts in holding welcoming, healing church services, testimony meetings, Sunday Schools, and lectures.

Branch church dedication

Dedication of a branch church or society is a public affirmation of the importance of Church in the lives of Christian Scientists and in the community. When an edifice is free of debt, churches and societies often hold a dedicatory service.

Susan’s devotion to the practice of Christian Science began while studying music in college and has led her on an inspired path of service.

In addition to projects related to Reading Room promotion, the Trustees Under the Will of Mary Baker Eddy grant program will continue to offer support for a variety of projects to aid branch church efforts in holding welcoming, healing church services, testimony meetings, Sunday Schools, and lectures.

As you work, the ages win; for the majesty of Christian Science teaches the majesty of man. —Mary Baker Eddy My Father worketh hitherto, and I work.
