Members of Christian Science organizations (CSOs) worldwide are finding that fellow classmates, professors, administrators, and others at their colleges and universities are increasingly interested in the spiritual perspective Science and Health has to offer. The March 1996 issue of The Christian Science Journal, and the Annual Meeting report carried in the July 1996 issue, focused on the healing mission, purpose, focus, and current priorities of the Church of Christ, Scientist. As a continuing report on how the Church is going forward in this work, senior managers at The Mother Church have been invited to write for the Journal a brief account of how workers in their area of activity are approaching these goals.

We thought readers would enjoy hearing how a woman from Washington State was touched by what she'd read in this column about how Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy is being shared. She writes: May I express appreciation for the brief testimonials in this column regarding the "hows" of distributing copies of Science and Health.

This past September a "Health and Nutrition" exhibition was held in Bombay, India. The members of First Church of Christ, Scientist, Bombay, had a booth at the exhibition, featuring Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy.

Some months ago I was feeling joyful over a physical healing that had taken place. The condition had changed for the better, and the apparent danger had passed; now everything was well again.

Many years ago I had a very simple and interesting experience. It showed me the practicality of appreciating two qualities of God's nature as Soul: beauty and purity.

A central teaching in Christ Jesus' ministry is the importance of love, expressed in devotion to God and in charity to one's fellowman. The virtues of forgiveness, patience, and selfless love are extolled in the Gospels.

Daily we see suffering in the world, and mankind yearning to be relieved of this suffering. One day as I was praying for mankind, these words came to me: "There is no thorn.
