To me, Wednesday testimony meetings in Christian Science churches are like a potluck supper—everyone contributes. In testimony meetings individuals can tell how they have responded to Jesus' command "Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

Christian Science nursing—bearing witness to the truth

Some years ago I met a man who had recently found Christian Science and was loving what he was learning. I had grown up with Christian Science, but was at that point rediscovering it for myself.

Does the Bible speak to you?

The religious books that my dad studied when I was a child were written in a language that, at that time, was not often taught to girls of our faith. The religious services that he attended were also conducted in this ancient language.

"...what doth the Lord require of thee"?

As children of God, you and I are never outside the embrace of God, who is universal Life, Truth, and Love. Through acknowledging in prayer God's supreme, all-encompassing nature and His just government of the universe, we can increase our awareness of His ever-presence.
