Letters & Conversations

Letters to the Journal from our readers. Opinions expressed in this column are not necessarily those of The Christian Science Journal.

Letters

The following letters are a small but representative portion of the correspondence that has arrived here recently regarding The Monitor Channel and other broadcasting activities of The Christian Science Publishing Society. Many of the letters are from church members.

LETTERS to be Read Again

Letters to editors are fairly common for most publications . Yet many of the letters we receive are anything but common.

LETTERS

Letters to editors are fairly common for most publications. What isn't quite so common is letters that go beyond the usual expression of opinion on various subjects, to tell of actual healing that has taken place or of new perspective gained as a result of what has been written.

Dear Reader, Welcome to the new Journal! While much of what you are seeing will be familiar—articles, editorials, and testimonies—there are some design changes that we hope will make your reading easier and more interesting. Three columns for the article section, rather than two, tends to make for easier reading, we feel.

ON THE AIR

ENCIRCLING THE GLOBE

Extracts from letters that tell about the spiritual discoveries and healing that the Christian Science textbook, Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy, has brought into people's lives I escaped from the genocide that took place in my country in 1972 .
