Commitment

Jesus didn't say (as the first commandment) Thou shalt love the Lord your God with 50% of your heart and soul, your mind and strength, reserving 50% of your energy and love for more important matters. He spoke from experience, (his the single eye, his the life in focus, discerning); no fractions there— no unfinished work, lingering pain, delayed healing, partial achievement in his living and sharing.

Striding the Word

John, John, belly laced with locusts and honey shouting the hot hills down striding the Word into all those preoccupied hearts shy of repentance, your dry voice booming in the wilderness dropped with a gasp as the quiet one waded the waters baring his unbaptized head. Inevitable recognition

What's true Always was. What's not Can never be.

Prodigal

I've been a long time coming, Father, To the place where I've always been. And what did I find when I got there, Father, But the Mother-love—without, within? What's proved

It's not what you seem But what you are That beckons the stranger From afar. What you say, less Than what you think, Brings him questing To the brink.

Love the way!

Yes, this the way to follow leadings truths .

Beyond the crossroad

one of the great things about that journey from saul to paul is that saul hadn't really planned on going quite that far no saul didn't realize such a trip could be taken there was no outlining on his part for that final destination no praying for transformation no awaiting regeneration he didn't even know it could be done so when that blinding light of Truth shut out material vision and saul fell to his knees upon the earth there was no arguing with that light no pleading for healed sight instead a soul-surrendering thought in the silence of the moment "who art thou, Lord?.
