Christian Science in Chicago

From the October 1886 issue of The Christian Science Journal

Rev. Bro. Day writes from Chicago, that our Church there, under his charge, is prospering, with over thirty members, and a congregation which will soon be too large for their place of meeting. Bro. Day adds, modestly, in deference to an editor's position, that it will at any time be perfectly agreeable to him if his communications, in whole or part, go into the waste basket, instead of the Journal. If all our contributors are so kind as that to the editor, he'll have quite a smooth path on that track.
