Church, and Mrs. Eddy's Class

From the October 1886 issue of The Christian Science Journal

At the opening service on Sept. 5th, at Chickering Hall, the Associate Pastor, Rev. Wm. I. Gill, was greeted with a large congregation, some having come, doubtless, in the hope that Mrs. Eddy would address them. Yet the audiences have increased each Sunday.

The following States were represented by the September class: New Mexico, California, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Iowa, Vermont, Maine, New Hampshire, Massachusetts. Nearly all Mrs. Eddy's classes are emphatically national; and national will be their influence, and worthy of the nation, we trust. They have already together contributed fifty dollars to the Church Fund.
