Message of the Bluebird

From the April 1886 issue of The Christian Science Journal

The storm and stress of April days,
To sunshine tribute bring;
So Lexington and Concord raise
The song of Freedom's Spring.

This is a lovely book,—or rather a cluster of sheets, exquisitely engraved, published by Lee & Shepard. On each sheet is a verse of poetry, illustrating an engraving of the bird and his song. One "to the sorrowing" is peculiarly beautiful. The covers are tied with colored twist, and Irene E. Jerome's book supplies a handsome and comforting Easter gift.
