The purpose of this article is to review a recent work by R. K. Carter.
Our author puts no limits to the Atonement. An "actual, practical destruction of the works of the devil," is his aim.
He holds that we are not, according to the Scriptures, expected to sin or be sick, and he makes it evident that we cannot get heaven till sin and sickness are destroyed. This noble step is beyond the old church theology. The Scriptures are not silent on this point, but fairly ring throughout with their clear testimony.
