HOW TO KNOW THE TRUTH

From the September 1907 issue of The Christian Science Journal

Do the truth you know, and you shall learn the truth you need to know.—George Macdonald.

Truth lies in character. Christ did not simply speak the truth; he was truth; truth through and through; for truth is a thing not of words, but of life and being.— Robertson.

God is universal; confined to no spot, defined by no dogma appropriated by no sect. Not more to one than to all, is God demonstrable as divine Life, Truth, and Love; and His people are they that reflect Him— that reflect Love.—Mary Baker G. Eddy, Mis. Writings, p. 150.
