Christian Science came to me at a time of deepest need. I had had a long hospital experience, being in one in New York city for surgery and special treatment at two different times, without receiving the help I so much needed. Discouraged and heartsick I returned to my home in Cincinnati, O., and through the solicitation of my daughter I was led to Christian Science for treatment. My progress was slow, but I held onto the truth as taught us in our wonderful text-book, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy, and health is now mine. I was brought up by orthodox Jewish parents. Now I know that God is Love, and that we are all His children. I have been in Christian Science eight years and am well and trying to live the life which the "little book" teaches. For fifteen years I had used glasses, and am most happy to say that for the past four years I have had no use for them, and can read, sew, and embroider without them.
I wish to express my gratitude to our revered Leader, who through purity of thought has shown us the way. I appreciate our periodicals, and all our Christian Science literature, and am thankful for each word which has helped me on my journey from sense to Soul.
