Christian Science is indeed the Comforter promised by Christ Jesus. It has healed me of several physical complaints, such as chronic headaches, backache, and nervousness; also a disposition to take cold, followed by a severe cough which lasted for months. To be free from these conditions is cause for much rejoicing, but the freedom from fear and worry which I am beginning to realize, is far greater. Words can never express my thankfulness for this Science and for the great change for the better that has taken place in my life since I began its study a few years ago. I have also been healed of sorrow, and for this alone I can never thank God enough. My husband has been healed through Christian Science of the liquor and tobacco habits. He was a heavy smoker and drank to such an extent that the future looked hopeless. He is now entirely free from these habits, and has been for nearly four years.
My gratitude and love for our Leader increases daily. I well realize that it is through her patience and untiring labor that this saving truth has been brought to all mankind.— Chicago, III.
