For several years I was a great sufferer physically and mentally. I had a number of ailments, among them being very severe stomach trouble. I could eat scarcely anything without suffering intensely, and finally had a complete breakdown. I continued to get weaker, until I was almost helpless, and some days was unable to leave my bed. My dear ones were very unhappy on my account, as I was always talking to them of death, and had a great fear of it. Everything was done for me in a material way, and I had the best doctors and was dosed with medicines without any benefit whatever. I was also sent away, in the hope that a change of climate might prove beneficial, but to no avail. At last a relative came to see me and asked me to have Christian Science treatment. She told me of the healing of a lady by Christian Science, which impressed me very much, and although I did not know anything about it. I decided to try this treatment, because I felt so hopeless and miserable.
Christian Science has healed me of all my troubles. Those who saw me before I came to Science, are surprised at the change in my appearance and they tell me how well and happy I look. I am thankful to God, also to Mrs. Eddy for her revelation of the truth that has healed me physically and uplifted me spiritually.
