I rejoice in the blessed truth of Christian Science, and I have had many proofs of its healing Principle. Some time ago I fell down the cellar stairs, striking on my Back, below the shoulder-blade, in such a way that I could scarcely breathe; but I at once declared the truth, knowing that God is a present help, and I soon felt better, so that I was able to get upstairs with my husband's help. I had to lie down until I could overcome a sense of sickness, and during this time my little boy read to me out of Science and Health. I slept nearly all night, and the next day I could walk, sit down, etc., but my back pained me and I could not lie down or get up without assistance. We telephoned the next morning to a Christian Science practitioner for treatment, and while I did not rest well the third night, until my husband read to me out of Science and Health, when I went to sleep in about a half hour, in a few days I was doing my housework. I realized rapid progress, and the healing was certainly beautiful. For this and other blessings I am truly thankful.
