Christian Science has brought so many blessings into my life that I can no longer refrain from expressing my gratitude. I did not come to it through the physical healing, but this glorious truth has done far more; it has healed me of infidelity and has given me a practical concept of God which I can understand, and prove Him to be an everpresent help in time of trouble.
When still young in Science I had the proof of this statement demonstrated through the following experience: One day a neighbor rushed into the house, with her child in her arms, crying piteously, "Baby is dead!" The little fellow was unconscious and his body as stiff as a stone. I instantly declared that God is Life, and that Life never dies. As the mother knew nothing of Science, a doctor was sent for, but he could not come until after office hours. In the mean while I held steadfastly to the truth, and in a short time the child's body grew flexible, he regained consciousness, and in just forty-five minutes from the time that the truth was declared for him the little one was quietly asleep, his body moist and natural. Two hours later, when the doctor arrived, he pronounced the baby normal and there was nothing for him to do.
This is only one of the many proofs I have had of the practicability of Christian Science, and it would be impossible for me to express my gratitude for all the blessings received and my love and gratitude to our dear Leader, Mrs. Eddy, who has opened the closed pages of the Scriptures for us to understand and utilize.
