My deep gratitude for what Christian Science has brought to me can only be expressed in the words of the psalmist: "O give thanks unto the Lord, for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever." This is what Christian Science has proved to me. Through its treatment I have been healed of a growth near my heart, from which I had many times been so much troubled that I believed it would, cause my death; but I have been shown that it had no power to do so Christian Science has also proved to me the truth of the words in Isaiah: "Fear thou not; for I am with thee be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness." The glorious light which the revelation of divine Truth brings to this dark world is that which will shine unto the perfect day, where there is no night.
For these great blessings that have come to me through Christian Science, I am unspeakably grateful. This Science teaches that it is God who is working "both to will and to do," and to Him belongs the glory.
