In deep gratitude I send this testimony of what Christian Science with its story of loving truth has done for me and for my family. I was getting ready to undergo a second operation when I first heard the words "God is good." I pondered them a couple of days, during which time I was to mortal sense getting worse. I then borrowed a copy of Science and Health, bought a Quarterly, and started my study. In twenty–four hours I was entirely free from pain, my back straightened, and all abdominal disorder disappeared. When my husband came in from work he could scarcely believe what he saw, I was so changed. For the first time in my life I know what it is to be well, and I am indeed thankful for the truth taught by Mrs. Eddy.
We have had many more demonstrations of the power of Truth. Our daughter was seriously injured, but by applying the truth the profuse bleeding was stopped almost instantly. We have learned through our daily lessons that divine Love is an ever present help in time of need, and we can never be grateful enough for the devotion of Mrs. Eddy in helping mankind to see God as He is.
One beautiful part of this work is the harmony it makes in the home. This we value as much as the healing. When my husband saw what Christian Science could do he presented me with a copy of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" to show his gratitude, and we study it daily together.— Chicago, Ill.
