In October, 1916, I was obliged to give up my home and go to bed for three months, owing to so-called exophthalmic goiter. After having treatment from a specialist I was no better, although allowed up for a few hours each day. Six months afterwards I could not stand without violent trembling, visible even in my face. I was told I would have to live very quietly and must rest for a long portion of each day all my life. While in this condition I turned to Christian Science and after only six weeks of treatment I was able to help with the housework. In five months I began to do all my own work, which I had been warned I must never attempt again. No one would know I had ever had such a trouble. Nervous headaches have also been overcome, and I am perfectly well.
To say I am grateful and rejoice, but faintly expresses my thankfulness to God, and my gratitude to Mrs. Eddy, not only for the physical healing but for the spiritual uplift.— Edinburgh, Scotland.
