Our nine months old child was suffering from a troublesome and painful disease of the skin. It first appeared on the face and rapidly spread over the little body. We followed the advice of doctor and friends to find out the best among all the remedies proposed, but all was in vain, for the disease grew worse every day.
Finally, after much patience and sacrifice, an acquaintance advised me to have the child treated in Christian Science, saying it would surely bring relief. Although I had never known of such a thing as spiritual healing, I went the same day to a practitioner and asked for help. After a conversation with her I returned home full of hope and confidence and did as she had instructed me to do. That same evening I put the child to bed without applying any ointment. To my great surprise and joy I found the little one in the morning with a white face instead of a crimson one. The burning and itching had disappeared and in a short time the disease had completely vanished.
