As the testimonies have always meant so much to me, I should like to add mine, hoping that it may help some one. At the time of our first healing, over twelve years ago we knew absolutely nothing about Christian Science. My foot and ankle were swollen to more than twice their ordinary size as a result of a broken knee. When the surgeon said that only time could relieve it, and that the leg might be shorter, a friend insisted that we try Christian Science. In one treatment it was perfectly normal. At the birth of my baby, two and a half years ago discordant conditions were quickly overcome. The baby came at midnight and I was up the next day at eleven o'clock, feeling and looking as well as I ever did in my life, and have never felt any ill effects.
Another healing that seemed very remarkable to us was that of a badly sprained ankle. Two in our family had suffered from sprains and it was weeks before they were entirely free. I was completely healed in one treatment. Although the discoloration remained several days, the pain and swelling were entirely gone. In our family we have had healings of whooping cough, earache, toothache, neuralgia, grippe, eczema of twenty years' standing, and wonderful protection during a time of contagion. Although we are very grateful for all these blessings, they seem small compared with the spiritual help we receive daily through our study of the Bible Lessons.
