It is with a heart full of love and gratitude to God and to our beloved Leader that I send the following testimony. One day during the month of August, 1917, while I was curling my hair a hot iron slipped from my hand, striking the ball of my right eye, causing severe pains. My screams brought my mother and sister to my assistance. My sister telephoned to a practitioner for help, which was very lovingly given. I asked for Science and Health, but as I opened the book to read everything became blurred, a film having gathered over the ball of the eye. This happened about ten in the morning. In the evening the film had completely vanished and I was free from pain, although the eye had become quite swollen. The next morning the eye was entirely healed. This was a wonderful demonstration to me, for which I am very grateful. My daily prayer is for a better understanding of this wonderful truth.— Seattle, Wash.
