There is no greater privilege in the world than to be healed in Christian Science, and to have an opportunity to tell mankind of the wonderful blessing this truth brings into every honest seeker's life. Christian Science was presented to me at a time when it seemed as if there was nothing whatever to help me, as I had had lumbago for several years at intervals. Each time the attack would be worse than the time before, until I was almost helpless. I could not dress myself or turn in bed, and to stand erect was an utter impossibility. I decided to try Christian Science to see if there were anything in it to help me. I was instantaneously healed; and ofttimes I wonder if I am the same person mentally. I was afraid of everything, always looking at the dark side of life; but I found that if we turn to God for health, we receive in proportion to our obedience in following His commandments. I never knew what happiness and contentment meant until I had begun to see the truth, as taught in Christian Science; and I could not begin to count the blessings that have come to me in the past six years through this study.
I am grateful for our dear Leader, whose life was noble and pure enough to give the world this truth. The greatest desire of my life is to let my light so shine that others may know that this wonderful truth blesses all. — Amarillo, Texas.
