I am unable to express in words my gratitude for Christian Science. I am sixteen years old; and as my mother was a Christian Scientist when I was born, it is the only religion I have ever known.
I should like to give an experience that I had lately, which proved God's healing power. About four months ago I had an attack of what is known as pleural pneumonia. My case was seemingly so serious that it was necessary to call in a nurse. At first I seemed to suffer a great deal; but with the help of a loving practitioner, I was finally made to understand that, as Mrs. Eddy says, "divine Love always has met and always will meet every human need" (Science and Health, p. 494), and that as God fills all space, there can be nothing in reality but good and harmony. When this was understood, all the discomforts which I had suffered from passed away, one by one. An abscess in my ear, which was very painful, and which also seemed to affect my hearing, was healed in a short period of time. I am indeed very grateful for the truth that frees us from sin, disease, and death.— New York, N. Y.
