I came into Christian Science for physical healing, after being under the care of physicians for years and receiving no benefit. It healed me in one treatment of a condition of the glands of the neck which caused me constant suffering, and which had been pronounced incurable by three physicians. I was healed of stomach trouble so severe that for months I had to live on a diet of Graham bread and raw eggs, and even this caused suffering; also, of bad eyesight, for which I had worn glasses for nine years. I could read only the headlines of a newspaper even with glasses. I was also healed of many bad effects following a nervous breakdown. Physicians had told me I should have to undergo an operation, or never be able to work or to ride in a car. This was all healed; and to-day I can ride or do any work that is necessary. Some of my healings seemed slow; but this only made me study and work harder.
While grateful for the many physical healings, I am yet more grateful for the better concept of God which has been gained through this blessed truth, as revealed to the world through the teachings of Christian Science.
