It is a great pleasure to confirm my wife's testimony as to her healing in Christian Science. For years she was under medical treatment; and the verdict of her own doctor, confirmed by a specialist, was that she must resign herself to being an invalid for the rest of her life. Then Christian Science was brought to us; and with it came healing, instantaneous and permanent. Since that time, nine years ago, my wife has been a strong, healthy woman. Words cannot express our thankfulness for all Christian Science has done for us. We are grateful for the physical healing, but much more grateful for the understanding of God and man's relation to Him, which has helped us through many difficulties, and brought us happiness and freedom.
I too have great cause for thankfulness for Christian Science. The understanding of divine Principle was a wonderful protection to me in the trenches and as prisoner of war in Germany. In the midst of apparent lack, and to mortal sense in an enemy country, divine Love was my source of supply and brought me kindness in place of harsh treatment, which was the experience of many.
