I have been blessed and sustained by the truth, as taught in "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, for a number of years. From a child there had been so many material laws laid down for me that my condition had become such that I was looked upon as a confirmed invalid. Large sums of money were expended, and practically every known remedy was prescribed by physicians in hospitals and sanitariums, in order to restore my health, but without permanent results. When my family was told that nothing more could be done, a Christian Science practitioner was called to my bedside; and in three days I was able to walk downstairs alone, and take dinner with my loved ones.
From that time on there was a gradual improvement in my condition, both physically and mentally; and while at times it seemed that the healing was very slow in coming, it came surely and completely. Through this experience I learned the necessity for consistent and earnest study of the Bible, Science and Health, and the Manual of The Mother Church, putting into daily practice the truths about God as I learned them. This occurred more than twelve years ago. Since that time I have depended entirely on Christian Science for the solution of every problem; and it has never failed me.
